As you visit gemba after gemba, you can ask yourselves: are we facing our deep problems? Are we measuring the right things? Do we understand the physical quantities we need to improve in order to improve our financial results?

In order to progress the teams need a clear sense of direction on their key topics. The clarity of the direction, how this direction is expressed in terms everyone can understand creates a "North Star" that involves everyone into seeing how they can contribute to solving the company's challenges and what creative ideas they can bring to the improve their workplace.

Your challenge is to express clearly directions for improvement and to pick up at least one idea from each team you meet during the gemba walks.
